Job summary

Helmerich and Payne seeks a Financial Reporting Analyst, Experienced Senior in Tulsa, OK. The role supports external reporting, prepares SEC documents, and provides technical accounting guidance to ensure accurate financial disclosures.

Responsibilities include quarterly/annual reports, SOX 404 compliance, and audit support. Requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA or CPA candidate, and 5+ years of accounting experience. Onsite in Tulsa with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or higher.
• CPA or CPA candidate.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret accounting information.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reports, including MD&A, using Wdesk.
• Answer audit questions and compile information requests.
• Prepare tie-out packages of external and internal reports.
• Support SOX 404 compliance and respond to audit requests.
• Serve as a technical accounting resource researching and documenting issues.
• Assist with special projects and technical accounting memos for complex transactions.
• Contribute to other tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned.
