Devon is seeking a Lead Financial Reporting Accountant in Oklahoma City to independently manage the preparation, analysis, and distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external use. You will ensure GAAP and SEC compliance while mentoring team members and optimizing reporting processes.

The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, CPA designation, and about 3–5 years in public accounting or financial reporting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required; 3–5 years in public accounting or financial reporting; oil and gas accounting preferred.
• Strong GAAP and SEC reporting knowledge; able to communicate complex data clearly.
• Excellent organizational skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for external use.
• Coordinate with external auditors and audit activities.
• Ensure SEC/GAAP compliance and timely reporting.
• Present financial analysis in clear, plain-English terms.
• Mentor junior staff and improve reporting processes.
• Assist in press releases and investor relations communications.
• Prepare 10-Q, 10-K and other filings as needed.
• Maintain internal control documentation and processes.
