Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in application or design engineering.
• Strong seating systems knowledge and communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customers, guiding seat design and manufacturability.
• Lead customer discovery, requirements clarification, and project scoping discussions.
• Review specifications, prepare technical proposals, and estimate material/design feasibility with sales.
• Translate requirements into internal drawings and specifications for seat assemblies.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality to ensure cost-effective, compliant solutions.
• Support product development cycles, including design validation and pre-production trials.
• Identify risks and propose mitigations related to design feasibility and space constraints.
• Prepare design reviews, technical summaries, and maintain project documentation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
