Job summary

Waters is seeking a Safety Data Sheet Authoring Senior Specialist to lead Global SDS Authoring and Hazard Communication, serving as the SME and coordinating with cross-functional teams across R&D, Sustaining Engineering, Manufacturing, and Regulatory to ensure compliant product stewardship.

The role focuses on SDS authoring, Hazard Communication, and Dangerous Goods compliance, with responsibilities for data coordination, regulatory training, and ongoing regulatory updates across Waters sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, or EH&S.
• Experience with US OSHA Hazard Communication Standards, WHMIS, CLP.
• Knowledge of the UN GHS.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Hazard Communication & SDS Management: prepare, author, review, and maintain SDSs in global compliance.
• Dangerous Goods: classify and verify transport requirements per ADR, IMDG, IATA, ICAO, and 49 CFR.
• Data Coordination & Training: coordinate data across Waters sites and participate in regulatory trainings.
