Job summary

Astir IT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior SDET – Testing & Change Management Consultant in Omaha, NE. The candidate will lead testing, release planning, deployment coordination, and business readiness initiatives across stakeholders and technology teams.

Required 8+ years in software testing, release management, or change management with hands-on deployment coordination. Onsite five days a week in Omaha, NE.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and executing comprehensive test plans.
• Proven ability to track defects and report testing status.
• Hands-on coordination of deployments and release activities.
• Experience supporting change management and stakeholder communications.
• Ability to plan and coordinate cutover activities and go/no-go decisions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with business readiness focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive test plans and test execution activities.
• Coordinate defect tracking, issue resolution, and testing status reporting.
• Support change management, stakeholder communications, and end-user training.
• Prepare release plans, deployment schedules, and cutover strategies.
• Coordinate with business users, operations, support, and technology teams.
• Identify implementation risks and ensure business readiness before deployment.
• Facilitate readiness reviews, go/no-go meetings, and post-release assessments.
