Job summary

BECU seeks an experienced Senior SDET to strengthen quality across SIAM and the digital banking ecosystem. You will expand automation coverage, build scalable testing solutions, and help teams deliver faster, reliable releases for members.

You will shape QE strategy, mentor teammates, and uphold engineering standards while working across multiple product areas. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on testing in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years designing test plans and automated tests in a team environment.
• Hands-on programming and scripting with C#, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript in Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, execute, and expand automated tests and frameworks to increase coverage and enable faster releases.
• Strengthen QE by analyzing applications, debugging issues, and performing root cause analysis to prevent defects.
• Lead across teams to align testing practices, tooling, and release readiness across multiple product areas.
• Mentor SDETs and QA professionals to elevate technical capabilities and quality standards.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to shape QE strategy and testing roadmaps.
