Mainspring Energy in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a Senior Staff Software Test & Automation Engineer to architect core validation and automation frameworks for the Mainspring LGen platform.

You will own testing for real-time embedded software, predictive control loops, and multi-fuel dynamics, designing scalable test beds, CI/CD pipelines, and risk-based test strategies.

This hybrid role offers a path to impact a clean energy technology renowned for fuel-switching capabilities and high efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 10+ years in SDET or Embedded Test
• Master’s degree with 9+ years in SDET or Embedded Test
• Strong automation leadership and test design experience
• Proficiency in Python and C++ with Bash scripting
• Experience testing cloud, embedded systems, networking, IoT or MIL/SIL/PIL

Responsabilidades

• Architect automation infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Develop test plans and traceability matrices for hardware/software integrations
• Lead root-cause and failure analysis during testing
• Drive risk-based testing and 100% coverage of critical-path functionalities
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
