Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Software Development Engineer In Test to elevate quality across the lifecycle. You will architect scalable test frameworks, build developer-facing quality tools, and lead automation strategies across platforms.

This senior IC role emphasizes hands-on engineering with technical leadership to drive reliability and velocity. You will partner with Product, Architecture, and Engineering to craft test coverage, create reusable utilities, and shape data strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in software development, test engineering, or quality engineering roles.
• Extensive experience in SDET or developer-led test infrastructure work.
• Proficient in TypeScript or Java with strong OO design knowledge.
• Experience building test frameworks, harnesses, and developer tooling.
• Strong ability to influence technical directions and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve scalable test frameworks and automation libraries.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and Engineering to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Create reusable utilities, mocks, stubs, and data solutions to improve testability.
• Integrate automated quality checks into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
