Qualifications

• Must have strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
• Proven track record on complex software projects and high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG/JUnit).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
• Version control knowledge (Git and Subversion).
• Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Testing web apps, APIs, and services.
• Security testing practices.
• Testing types: functional, regression, integration, system, usability, UAT.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Mentoring junior testers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures.
• Write test cases and scripts and identifies data for scenarios.
• Conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers and Leads.
• Perform tests to ensure defect-free operation of systems.
• Document and communicate test results.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting.
• Mentor junior testers and provide feedback.
