citizenship and eligibility for Public Trust (MBI) clearance. Responsibilities include designing test plans, writing and executing tests, and reporting results.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC understanding.
• Proficiency in writing/executing test cases and plans.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, QTP, LoadRunner).
• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions).
• Version control experience (Git, Subversion).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Defect tracking/management experience (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• SQL/database knowledge for data validation.
• Testing of web apps, APIs, and services.
• Security testing practices and tools.
• Experience across functional, regression, integration, system, usability, UAT testing.
• Analytical/problem-solving skills; strong communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures to ensure systems meet requirements.
• Develop test plans, test schedule, and approach.
• Write test cases and scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
• Conduct walkthroughs of test cases/scripts with managers and leads.
• Perform and lead tests to ensure defect-free operation.
• Verify work products using defined methods and environments.
• Document and communicate test results.
• Support analysis of test results and issue resolution.
• Document and work to resolve complex problems.
• Report progress on issue resolution to management.
• Develop improvements to procedures and future configurations.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting.
• Occasionally perform other IT systems engineering activities.
• Apply technical principles and concepts in the field.
• Receive objectives and establish goals to meet them.
• Provide direction to staff per policies.
• Measure objective achievement.
• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems.
