Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SDET Engineer to advance test automation across web, API, and mobile platforms. You will design and implement robust automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and partner with development teams to embed quality across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of testing strategy (unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, security) and a track record of shipping reliable tests in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Solid SQL skills and database validation experience.
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, and microservice testing.
• Write production-quality automated test code in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or Pact.
• Implement contract testing to validate service contracts in microservice ecosystems.
• Build CI/CD test pipelines integrated with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Develop performance test suites using tools like JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust with realistic load models.
• Implement security testing fundamentals including dependency scanning and OWASP checks.
• Lead test strategy discussions, risk-based testing, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects to identify quality risks early.
• Perform root-cause analysis of production incidents and translate findings into automated tests.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and maintain thorough test documentation and dashboards.
