Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to bring strong software engineering practices to the discipline of test automation. In this role you will design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and partner with development teams to embed quality engineering throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate will combine strong programming skills with deep knowledge of testing strategy, including

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Five or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Hands-on experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Solid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
Solid SQL skills and experience with database validation.
Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern web architectures.
Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
