Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead the design, build, and continuous improvement of test automation frameworks. You will write production-quality test code and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years in SDET or test-focused software engineering roles
• Strong programming in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Hands-on with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• REST and/or gRPC API automation experience
• CI/CD pipelines for test automation
• SQL and database validation experience
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Strong debugging, communication and documentation
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks
• Write production-quality test code
• Partner with development teams to embed quality across the SDLC
• Translate ambiguous requirements into engineered solutions
• Lead code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers
