Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SDET Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. The position focuses on designing, building, and improving automation frameworks and test code for cloud, AI, and distributed systems.

You will collaborate with product, design, engineering, and operations teams to embed quality across the SDLC, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to code reviews and testing strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Solid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with database validation.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern web architectures.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks.
• Write production-quality test code and embed quality engineering across the SDLC.
• Partner with development teams to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered test solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar through code and design reviews.
