Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SDET Engineer to advance test automation across web, API, and microservices. You will design, build, and evolve automation frameworks and write production-quality test code in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, own testing strategy, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior QA engineers while delivering durable, well-documented automation that scales with our SOW-driven, long-term

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Five or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with database validation.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern web architectures.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust test automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, and microservices.
• Write production-quality automated test code in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Implement contract testing and CI/CD pipelines with common tools.
• Develop performance tests using JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.
• Perform root-cause analysis of production incidents and translate findings into automated tests.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and uphold engineering rigor.
• Maintain test documentation and dashboards, ensuring durable, well-documented outcomes.
