Job summary

Vidorra Consulting Group is seeking a Senior SDET in Dallas to design and implement scalable automation using Playwright and TypeScript. You will build end-to-end UI/API test suites and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve overall software quality.

The role requires strong automation skills, experience with Git and Agile teams, and a solid understanding of testing concepts across functional, regression, smoke, and integration levels.

Qualifications

• Strong automation experience with Playwright (preferred) and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of functional, regression, smoke, integration testing.
• Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable automation code and perform code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright + TypeScript.
• Develop reusable automation components (Page Object Model / fixtures / utilities).
• Automate UI and API test coverage and expand regression suites.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD and ensure reliable test execution/reporting.
• Collaborate with developers / product / QA to define test strategy and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, triage, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and logs.
• Improve test stability: reduce flakiness, optimize runtime, enhance debugging.
