The candidate will design automated tests (Selenium, Playwright) using Java/TypeScript, validate with MSSQL/MySQL, and contribute to CI/CD with Jenkins or Git Actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years QA experience with functional and 5+ years automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and data validation.
• Proficiency with SQL queries (MSSQL/MySQL) and database validation.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (Selenium, Playwright, Java/TypeScript).
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and non-functional testing.
• Create test scenarios, cases, and acceptance criteria from user stories.
• Lead QA activities within Agile teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Support UAT and validate business workflows with Product Owners.
• Perform database validation and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects; drive timely resolution with dev teams.
• Improve QA processes and automation frameworks for greater coverage.
• Support release and hotfix cycles with prioritization and adaptability.
• Mentor junior testers across onshore/offshore teams.
