Job summary

System One seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join an automated Agile team modernizing enterprise apps for cloud migration. You will design and implement automated testing for web apps, APIs, and data-heavy workflows using Java, TypeScript, Playwright, and BDD/TDD frameworks.

Ideal candidates have strong API testing, SQL validation, and experience supporting CI/CD pipelines. The role is hybrid, requiring occasional on-site participation and collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (required).
• 8–10 years of software testing or software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience.
• Strong programming experience using Java.
• Hands-on development experience using TypeScript.
• Experience building, customizing, and maintaining automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web apps, APIs, and cloud-native services.
• Create automated test solutions using Playwright, Selenium, Java, TypeScript, and BDD/TDD frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to analyze user stories and acceptance criteria and build in-sprint automated tests.
• Develop and execute automated regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
