Job summary

Goods & Services is seeking a Senior SDET who leads test automation strategy and oversees the automation team. The role includes building testing tools and collaborating with local and cross-functional teams to ensure quality.

You will design automated tests for web apps and APIs using Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript; perform API testing with Postman; develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions; and contribute to test architecture and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
• 5 years of recent software development experience.
• Experience in designing and creating automation frameworks.
• Experience with Page Object Model.
• Proficient in building test scenarios for all levels.
• Strong coding in TypeScript/JavaScript using Playwright.
• Deep API testing knowledge with Postman.
• Experience with cloud native (AWS preferred).
• Agile experience with user stories and estimates.
• Understanding of OO design and test life cycle.
• CI/CD deployment experience with Jenkins or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering cases, scenarios, automation and coverage.
• Research and develop testing tools, frameworks and automation solutions.
• Develop automated tests for web apps and APIs using Playwright, TS/JS.
• Perform API testing with Postman and validate HTTP, HTML, DOM, XML, JS.
• Create reusable automation components and design artifacts.
• Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with Developers, DevOps and QA to improve testability.
• Participate in code reviews and promote coding standards.
• Work independently, driving testing initiatives and improvements.
• Develop domain understanding to craft risk-based testing strategies.
