Filevine's Telephony team builds voice communication capabilities that keep customers connected to what matters. We are seeking a Senior SDET to own quality across backend services, APIs, and customer-facing applications, focusing on test frameworks and scalable automation beyond UI.

The ideal candidate will design test plans, mentor engineers, and drive automated testing across End-to-End, Integration, and UI layers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineer or test automation experience.
• Expert in OO languages such as C# or Java.
• Deep understanding of the application development life cycle (SDLC).
• Expert knowledge of QA testing techniques and the STLC.
• Experience testing REST web services and backend-heavy services.
• Ability to build custom testing tools and harnesses for hard-to-test systems.
• Practical experience applying GenAI/LLMs to improve testing productivity and analysis.
• Experience with stress and load testing tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and write test plans and automated scripts for backend services, APIs, and customer apps.
• Improve scalability, performance, and efficiency of the testing pipeline.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks.
• Build solutions for automated and load testing.
• Drive complex projects to completion and exercise judgment.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Identify opportunities for automated testing across End-to-End, Integration, and UI layers.
• Communicate clearly with technical and management audiences about usability and serviceability.
