Filevine, a Legal AI company, seeks a senior SDET to own quality for Immigration AI. You will drive backend/API testing, build/test automation, and develop tooling to raise the team’s overall quality beyond UI-driven tests.

The role emphasizes solving hard testing problems, mentoring others, and collaborating with product and engineering to deliver robust features for immigration workflows. Hybrid work in multiple cities, including NY.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering or test automation.
• Expert in C# or Java and REST testing.
• Experience testing backend-heavy services with little UI.
• Experience applying GenAI/LLMs to improve testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Write and identify test cases and test plans.
• Set up test environments and testing plans.
• Develop and execute manual and automated tests.
• Contribute to automated test frameworks and tooling.
• Analyze and improve testing scalability and performance.
