Job summary

eHealth is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our engineering team. You will design, develop, and execute automated test suites to ensure quality and reliability of our software products across API and web-based applications.

You will collaborate with software engineers, QA, and product managers to implement test strategies, drive automated testing, and integrate with CI/CD pipelines, while aligning with our fast-paced agile environment and global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as either a Software Development Engineer or SDET
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#
• Experience designing and developing automated test frameworks and test suites
• Experience with CI/CD processes and version control systems like Git

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure testability and maintainability across the SDLC
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and testing of software features
