Job summary

Early Warning Services is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to lead test strategy and automation for large-scale API, web, and mobile interfaces. This role emphasizes CI/CD, with hands-on work delivering quality across platforms in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in test automation, strong Java background, and experience with tools like Appium, Selenium, and Rest-Assured. Hybrid work is available in multiple cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience developing software or test automation frameworks using two of the programming languages - Java, Ruby, Node.js or Objective C. Java is preferred.
• Experience with established Software development and monitoring tools (GitLab, GIT, Eclipse/Android Studio/X-Code, Bamboo, Harness, Splunk, AppDynamics).
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks for API, web or mobile platforms (hybrid, iOS or Android) using automation tools like Appium, Selenium, WebDriver, Rest-Assured, and Cucumber.

Responsibilities

• Implements an automated test structure in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Contributes to automated component, system integration, regression, backward compatibility and performance tests.
• Executes automated and manual test suites and ensures overall system quality prior to production release.
• Reports defects and issues to development teams and manages defects through to resolution.
• Creates test artifacts including strategy, plans, cases, and summary reports.
