Job summary

As a Senior SDET, you own the strategy, automation, and signal quality for your team, with exploratory testing as deliberate work alongside maintainable automation; PHI never enters non-production.

Qualifications

• Design or evolve a quality system for a team and explain testing scope.
• Deep experience with modern programming languages and test frameworks.
• Ability to trace failing tests across services using logs/traces.
• Experience with synthetic-data strategy and non-production safeguards.
• Depth in performance, resilience, security, or accessibility.
• Clear communication of residual risk to Engineering and Product.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's quality strategy and verification approach based on risk.
• Build automation architecture with frameworks and shared patterns.
• Make test feedback actionable by controlling speed, gating, and flakes.
• Own synthetic data and PHI guardrails for non-production environments.
• Define environment, observability, and data needs with Platform.
• Direct AI-first quality practice and establish agent conventions.
