Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC seeks a senior test automation engineer to design and implement enterprise-grade test automation frameworks from the ground up. You will drive automated testing for RESTful APIs and Web Services using Java and BDD, and develop scenario-based performance tests with JMeter to validate complex integrations.

Experience with AWS, API gateways (Apigee), and containerised pipelines is preferred. This role is based in Chicago, on-site, with merit-based growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and implementing enterprise test automation frameworks from scratch.
• 4+ years automated testing for RESTful APIs and Web Services using Java and BDD.
• 3+ years developing performance tests with JMeter.
• Proven SQL skills with relational databases and advanced queries.
• Experience validating full-stack multi-system integrations with external parties.
• Preferred: AWS cloud platforms and API gateways (Apigee), TDD, containerised pipelines.

Job description

8+ years designing and implementing enterprise test automation frameworks from scratch.

4+ years of hands-on automated testing for RESTful APIs and Web Services using Java and BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Karate, or JBehave).

3+ years developing scenario-based performance, load, and stress test suites using JMeter.

Proven experience with relational databases and writing advanced SQL queries.

Demonstrated track record validating full-stack multi-system integrations with external third parties.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS) and API Gateways (Apigee).

Background in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and containerised pipeline environments.
