Job summary

TechDigital Group in Overland Park, KS is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – API Tester to design, implement, and maintain automated tests for RESTful services.

You will collaborate with developers, PMs, and QA peers to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of our API platforms, while building robust test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA experience with at least 2 years in API testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI).
• Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

JD: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - API Tester to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts for validating RESTful APIs. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our services.
