Capgemini in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Quality Engineer / SDET to lead API testing and automation efforts. You will design and execute automated tests for REST APIs, ensure reliability of microservices, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong Java, TestNG/JUnit, Selenium, and SQL skills, with experience in Jenkins/Azure DevOps and Git. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with developers to improve software quality across services.

Formación

Position: Senior Quality Engineer / SDET

Type: Full-Time

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation with a strong focus on API Testing.
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing using REST Assured, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools.
• Strong programming skills in Java and experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
• Experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in SQL and backend/database testing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, API Design, and Distributed Systems.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
