Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking an experienced Test Lead to drive QA and SDET activities in an Agile setting. You will lead automation efforts, design robust frameworks, and ensure quality across UI, API, and data validation tasks.

With 7–10 years of hands-on QA experience, you will mentor teams, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable software solutions. This on-site role is based in Alpharetta, GA.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of QA/SDET experience in software development
• Strong Java programming skills and experience building automation
• Proficient in UI and API automation, CI/CD integration

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Core Java and Java 8+
• Perform UI and mobile automation using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools
• Develop and execute API automation tests using Rest-Assured, HTTPClient, or equivalent tools
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Cucumber/Gherkin and BDD practices
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data across multiple databases

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with 7-10 years of hands-on QA and Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) experience. The ideal candidate will have strong Java programming skills, expertise in UI and API automation, experience developing BDD frameworks using Cucumber/Gherkin, and practical knowledge of AI-powered testing tools. The candidate will support quality engineering initiatives, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
