Qualifications

• 7+ years leading design or architecture of scalable systems.
• 5+ years of professional software development.
• 5+ years of programming experience in at least one language.
• Experience mentoring or leading an engineering team.
• Strong background in security-hardened system design (PKI, TLS, cryptographic signing).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph suitability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a decomposed microservices platform for fleet management and security.
• Design secure inter-service communication across REST/mTLS and streaming data planes.
• Build cryptographic trust infrastructure with multi-CA hierarchies.
• Implement multi-tenant data isolation and ABAC-based access control.
• Ensure cryptographic integrity for configuration and audit data.
• Develop break-glass workflows with time-bounded credentials and audits.
• Maintain key management with FIPS 140-2 Level 3 controls.
• Align edge device data as truth, with synchronized backend projections.
