Job summary

Amazon Music seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to drive the catalog systems, ML/GenAI integration, and scalable data pipelines. You will lead architecture discussions and partner with scientists, PMs, and engineers to deliver reliable, cost-efficient platforms at scale across metadata ingestion and catalog serving.

You will mentor engineers, own design reviews, and collaborate with senior teams to set roadmaps.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience.
5+ years programming with at least one language.
5+ years leading design or architecture of systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or team lead.
Experience deploying LLMs in production on accelerators.
ML fundamentals: architecture, training/inference, optimization.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical direction for features within the developer experience portfolio.
Drive technical decisions and establish best practices for codebase and infra.
Mentor SDEs and conduct design reviews with peers.
Partner with Principal Engineers to solve complex challenges.
Create automation to reduce toil and improve workflows.
Design APIs and frameworks for teams to build productivity tools.
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable and reliable.
Develop GenAI/ML solutions in production and scale them.
