Job summary

Amazon in New York is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead the evolution of the Ads Console Frameworks platform. You will define framework-level contracts, drive AI-native development, and ship architectures that power agentic advertising experiences across many teams.

You will partner with product and engineering to optimize performance, availability, and developer velocity while shaping platform services that underpin 141+ advertiser pages.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture and hands-on delivery across the full AI application stack for the Ads Agent experience and integration framework used by dozens of partner teams.
• Bring product thinking to every technical decision: understand advertiser workflows and reflect them in architecture.
• Set direction on a horizontal platform team: define integration patterns and API contracts for many teams.
• Establish best practices for AI applications and AI-native development, including evaluation and orchestration.
• Drive operational excellence and mentor engineers across the team.
