Job summary

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build customer-facing platform services for the ads console framework and portal surfaces. You will own the design and implementation end-to-end, focusing on quality, performance, and security, while collaborating with product managers and partner teams.

You will work within a native AIDLC team, applying agentic development practices across design, implementation, testing, and operations, and shaping high-velocity engineering

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming in at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of platform capabilities end to end for the ads console framework and portal services.
• Work agentically across the full development life cycle, using AI to draft designs, scaffold implementations, and review code.
• Drive ambiguous problems to simple, data-backed decisions and craft planning-level designs for partner teams.
• Set and maintain the operational and quality bar with tests, security logging, alarms, and safe rollouts.
• Codify reusable prompts, agents, skills, and harness workflows to speed up delivery.
• Collaborate across teams and influence shared platform decisions.
