Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience with certifications.
• 4+ years SDWAN architecture design, implementation, and support.
• Networking certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.
• 4+ years engineering experience and 3+ years of project leadership.
• 4+ years Layer 2/3 WAN/Cloud/Data Center design and engineering.
• 4+ years experience with BGP and WAN technologies.
• Experience with large-scale environments and remote sites.
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment.
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Experience in SDWAN overlay technologies.
• Knowledge of QoS and security functions (firewalls, VPN, IPS, etc).
• Ability to manage complex multi-organizational projects.
• Experience with SDN environments (Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Meraki).
• Vendor management skills across hardware/software vendors.
• Experience with Data Center Colocation and virtual networks (Equinix, Mega-Port).
• Pass eQIP background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize SDWAN and remote-site connectivity across Humana.
• Lead capacity planning for switching, routing, and signaling across platforms.
• Develop standard solutions and determine network activity sequences.
• Participate in on-call and weekend implementation duties as needed.
• Support cloud network design and administration for physical and virtual devices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable network architectures.
