Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, analyze, and modify network components for customer communications and remote sites.

You will develop SDWAN solutions, evaluate capacity needs, and conduct feasibility studies for multi-platform connectivity across Humana and its subsidiaries. The role involves planning, testing, and implementing SDWAN and remote site infrastructure, with responsibilities for performance, resiliency, and security.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a technical or scientific field or 4+ years of related experience with certifications.
• 4+ years SDWAN architecture design, implementations, and support.
• Network engineering certification such as CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of technical network engineering and 3+ years of project leadership.
• 4+ years of Layer 2/ Layer 3 WAN design (WAN/Cloud/Data Center).
• 4+ years of experience with BGP and WAN technologies.
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Pass eQIP background check; not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, plan and modify remote site network components.
• Develop SDWAN designs, feasibility and cost studies.
• Lead moderately to highly complex network projects across orgs.
• Provide cloud network design and admin support for physical and virtual devices.
• Participate in on-call and implementation duties during nights or weekends.
