Job summary

A&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to lead agile teams on federal IT initiatives. You bring 8+ years of project management experience and coach teams in Scrum and Kanban to enable predictable delivery and rapid value realization.

Responsibilities include facilitating ceremonies, managing backlogs and releases, and tracking metrics in JIRA. Must have a TS/SCI with Poly clearance to be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 8+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years leading Agile sprints.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe certification.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Proven ability to coach teams in Agile/Scrum implementation and iterative development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile metrics (backlog, burndown, velocity, tasks, stories).
• Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive readouts.

• Partner with Product Owners to manage priorities and evolving requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using retrospectives and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain project data and metrics in tools such as JIRA.
• Deliver high-level project readouts to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint/iteration planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Manage engineering projects, sprint releases, timelines, requirements, and team execution.

• Guide estimation, planning, prioritization, and delivery to ensure projects remain on track.

• Identify and remove impediments, resolve conflicts and roadblocks, and facilitate effective team collaboration.

• Communicate project status, accomplishments, risks, and performance to leadership, stakeholders, and customers.

• Partner with Product Owners and team leads to manage priorities, scope, and evolving business requirements.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using retrospectives, post-mortems, and root-cause analysis to improve quality, productivity, and delivery velocity.

• Maintain project data and metrics in tools such as JIRA to support planning, execution, and reporting.

• Implement and reinforce Agile principles, processes, and best practices across the team.

• Deliver high-level project readouts and weekly status reports to senior leadership.

Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• 8+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years leading Agile sprints.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe certification.

• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Proven ability to coach teams in Agile/Scrum implementation and iterative, incremental development.

• Strong knowledge of Agile metrics, including backlog tracking, burndown, velocity, tasks, and user stories, to improve sprint planning and delivery.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience delivering project readouts to executive-level audiences.
