Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support one or more Agile teams, driving best practices, removing impediments, and enabling on-time delivery against business commitments. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, Agile Coaches, and cross-functional partners to maintain healthy backlogs and transparent progress.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement, with hands-on experience in SAFe/enterprise Agile environments

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Scrum Master or Agile delivery role.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, sprints, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Experience in SAFe or large enterprise Agile environments.
• Proficiency with Jira for backlog mgmt, reporting, dashboards, and metrics.
• Experience producing executive-level status reporting using PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy backlog aligned to objectives and delivery commitments.
• Establish mature Agile practices for new teams and promote continuous improvement.
• Monitor delivery health using cycle time, throughput, WIP, predictability, and sprint outcomes.
• Identify and remove impediments; coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Provide timely status updates on delivery plans, milestones, risks, and impediments.
• Maintain transparency through Agile tooling, dashboards, and team communication.
• Coach teams and leaders on Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and servant leadership.
