Job summary

TEKsystems in Charlotte, NC seeks an expert Scrum Master to support one or more Agile teams, drive best practices, remove impediments, and enable on-time delivery. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers and cross-functional partners to establish effective processes and healthy backlogs for predictable results.

The role emphasizes coaching teams on Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and servant leadership, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery quality in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery role.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Experience in SAFe or enterprise-scale Agile environments.
• Proficiency with Jira for backlog management, reporting, dashboards and delivery metrics.
• Experience leveraging Agile flow metrics (cycle time, throughput, WIP, predictability).
• Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, impediments and cross-team coordination.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing executive-level status reporting using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Servant leadership with coaching and continuous improvement focus.
• At least 1 year of experience with AI initiatives (Microsoft Copilot or similar).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and team planning activities.
• Coordinate release management and change execution with partners.
• Maintain healthy backlog aligned to objectives and commitments.
• Mature Agile delivery practices for new teams and foster accountability.
• Monitor delivery health with Agile metrics and trends.
• Identify and remove impediments across cross-functional teams.
• Manage risks and dependencies with change governance.
• Provide timely status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Maintain transparency with Agile tooling, dashboards and reports.
• Coach teams and leaders on Agile and SAFe practices.
• Support PI planning and RTE/Coach collaboration.
