Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid/Sr Scrum Master to lead one complex agile team or several smaller teams within a large SAFe program. The role focuses on removing impediments, coaching in Scrum/Kanban, and guiding teams toward SAFe maturity while collaborating with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Release Train Engineers.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of relevant experience, relevant certifications (CSM/SSM/PMI-ACP), and holds TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
At least 4 years of experience as Scrum Master on a software/technical team.
CSM, SSM or PMI-ACP certification.
Hands-on experience with agile tools such as Jira, VersionOne, Rally, IBM RTC.
TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Facilitate one complex agile team or several small teams within an Agile Release Train (ART).
Protect the team from scope creep during PI execution.
Remove impediments and coordinate with Release Train Engineers on solutions.
Coach teams in Scrum, Scrumban, or Kanban to ensure process adherence.
Lead SAFe ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and PI Planning.
Develop User Stories with Product Owners and System Engineers to meet acceptance criteria.
Maintain team information radiators and share metrics for continuous improvement.
