Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to empower one or more teams and drive agile practices across the program. You will mentor Product Owners, facilitate Scrum events, and remove impediments to improve value delivery in a remote environment.

You will coach across SAFe and Agile patterns, use Jira/VersionOne for tracking, and partner with stakeholders to increase predictability and quality. Travel to Humana offices may be required for training, with a 40-hour work week and competitive

Qualifications

5+ years of related Agile experience.
3+ years as Scrum Master.
2+ years with agile methodologies on large-scale, complex projects.
Thorough understanding of agile methodologies, values, practices and patterns.
Proven experience coaching and mentoring others.
Proven ability to facilitate removal of impediments.
Advanced facilitation, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience with SAFe and agile scaling.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
Support PI Planning, System Demos and Inspect and Adapt sessions.
Mentor the Product Owner in user story creation, prioritization and backlog refinement.
Remove impediments to improve team flow and delivery.
Use data and metrics to demonstrate capacity, predictability, and maturity.
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve practices.
