Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in IT project delivery. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach teams toward high-value outcomes in a banking environment.

The role requires strong collaboration, stakeholder communication, and experience with Agile tools like Azure DevOps. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience as a Scrum Master or in project management.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Leadership experience preferred; mentoring Agile teams.
• Basic knowledge of Financial Services or Banking regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile teams and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Support Product Owner with backlog clarity and prioritization.
• Remove impediments and shield teams from distractions to meet sprint goals.
• Report progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
