Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a Scrum Master to oversee kanban/scrum teams using Agile practices. The role focuses on maintaining stable, productive teams and removing impediments to ensure on-time delivery of projects and ongoing systems maintenance.

The incumbent will coach teams, support the product owner, and help drive maturity in agile processes while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of technology delivery experience.
• Scaled Agile certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kanban/scrum team in using Agile methodology and kanban/scrum practices.
• Assist the product owner and development team to deliver on key projects and maintenance duties.
• Lead the kanban/scrum and development teams in self-organization.
• Remove impediments and coach the team to remove obstacles.
• Identify and fill gaps in the Agile framework.
• Resolve conflicts and issues that occur.
• Help the team achieve higher kanban/scrum maturity.
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed.
