Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master in Phoenix, AZ to lead a large greenfield tax system program transitioning from Waterfall to Agile. The role expects collaboration with a fractional Agile Coach and blends remote work with periodic in-office meetings.

You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, drive impediment removal, and serve as a Change Agent while coordinating with program leadership and the enterprise. Interview in person.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working on large multi-phase complex system implementations.
• 3-5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Demonstrated experience supporting a team's transition from waterfall to agile.
• Proven experience managing complex dependencies in a large multi-phase system.
• Technical background with aptitude to support complex financial enterprise platform implementations.
• Experience as a developer at some point in their career.
• Excellent communication skills with external vendors.
• Strong Change Agent mindset and adaptability to guide teams through change.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective).
• Coordinate between program agile team and internal organization; manage dependencies and blockers.
• Coach team on Agile practices and educate stakeholders on agile principles.
• Support Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritization.
