Job summary

State of Arizona - AZDOR seeks a Technical Scrum Master / Agile Coach with 10+ years of experience to lead Agile transformation for a large tax system initiative. You will coach teams transitioning from Waterfall to Agile, serve as a bridge between the program and the organization, and guide complex data-focused implementations.

You will collaborate with vendors, manage dependencies, and facilitate Scrum ceremonies while supporting the Product Owner to refine backlogs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Scrum Master with proven coaching success.
• Strong technical acumen supporting technical product implementations.
• Background in new product development; led Scrum teams from build to release.
• Experience in data conversion, data cleansing, data integration.
• Experience in public sector and regulated environments.
• Proven ability to transition teams from waterfall to Agile.
• Excellent communication with external vendors.
• Change Agent mindset and adaptability during organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile Transformation as a coach and mentor for a team new to Agile.
• Coordinate between the program agile team and the internal organization; manage dependencies.
