Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead one or more Agile teams in the Charlotte area. You will ensure effective Scrum adoption, coach teams toward high performance, and partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs while delivering on commitments.

The role requires strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills, with a track record of removing impediments and guiding teams through agile transformations in enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong background as a Scrum Master.
• Proven ability to facilitate ceremonies, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience partnering with Product Owners and engineering teams on backlog management and delivery reporting.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills; adept at stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams and ensure effective adoption of Scrum principles and practices.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Coach Scrum teams toward self-organization, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify, track, and remove impediments that impact team productivity and delivery.
• Partner with Product Owners to ensure effective backlog management, prioritization, and refinement.
• Track Sprint and release progress using metrics such as velocity, burndown, throughput, cycle time, and predictability.
• Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers and proactively communicate them to stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration and dependency management in large-scale Agile environments.
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to the Agile Center of Excellence.
