Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a Lead Scrum Master for a W-2 contract opportunity in Charlotte, NC. Hybrid schedule.

You will coach Agile teams, promote servant leadership, and partner with Product Owners to maintain prioritized backlogs and effective sprint rituals. The role requires strong Scrum expertise and a proven track record in delivering value through Agile practices.

Qualifications

Graduation from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience with product and project concepts, and practices.
3+ years Scrum Master experience in addition to degree.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Coach teams with servant leadership to enable self-organization.
Identify process improvements and maintain a continuous improvement roadmap.
Partner with Product Owner to manage backlog and roadmap.
Educate teams and stakeholders on Scrum, Kanban, and scaling frameworks.
Lead Agile events: daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retro.
Provide metrics for data-driven decisions (burndown, velocity).
Identify and manage impediments, risks, and dependencies until resolution.
Facilitate communication between team and external stakeholders.
Ensure artifact quality and team productivity.
