Job summary

Ontada is seeking an experienced delivery leader to own end-to-end agile execution across two scrum teams within a regulated enterprise environment. You will establish sprint cadences, coordinate backlog readiness, and drive release planning while guiding stakeholders through the delivery lifecycle.

You will coach Product Owners and teams on scope, risks, and acceptance criteria, while maintaining governance, quality standards, and executive visibility into milestones and dependencies.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience leading complex, large-scale agile delivery initiatives in enterprise environments.
Demonstrated success in Scrum Master, Project Manager, or hybrid delivery leadership roles.
Ability to manage two scrum teams or a complex team, dependencies, and stakeholders in fast-paced, regulated environments.
Strong executive communication skills with Directors, VPs, and senior leaders.
Expert-level experience managing scope, timelines, and delivery commitments.
Understanding of technical architecture and product roadmaps.
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and code quality standards.
Experience with modern software engineering teams (web, cloud, APIs, microservices).
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification from a recognized industry organization.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery accountability across two scrum teams or a complex team.
Establish and operate delivery models, including sprint cadence, backlog readiness, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release coordination.
Facilitate agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
Coach Product Owners and teams on scope, sizing, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria.
Define sprint and release scope based on product prioritization and engineering capacity.
Lead integrated planning across product, engineering, UX, QA, and release management.
Lead pre-release planning and assess capacity, risks, and dependencies.
Manage release-level capacity planning, estimation, sequencing, and delivery tracking.
Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and constraints; provide milestone tracking.
Drive delivery trade-off decisions and escalation paths.
Maintain delivery dashboards, Jira hygiene, Definitions of Ready and Done, and runbook updates.
Lead non-production WAR/MIM rooms for time-sensitive issues in Dev, QA, or Staging environments.
Maintain PlainView updates and ensure weekly team time tracking.
Liaise among Product Owners, Development Teams, and external stakeholders.
Provide executive communication on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
Facilitate governance forums, milestone reviews, and executive checkpoints.
Maintain a build-ready backlog for the next 3–6 sprints.
Ensure governance, compliance, audit evidence, and regulatory artifacts.
Coordinate QA, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing readiness and execution.
Manage testing artifacts, integration dependencies, defects, prioritization, closure, and root cause analysis.
Coach teams on agile practices, ADLC maturity, and enterprise delivery standards.
Use delivery metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to Ontada’s Agile Delivery Lifecycle and enterprise delivery practices

Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically 7+ years of relevant experience

Ability to manage two scrum teams or a complex team, dependencies, and stakeholders in fast-paced, regulated environments
