Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems is seeking a Machine Tech V- 2nd shift in Fullerton, CA to set up and operate multiple spindle screw machines. The incumbent will have authority to make minor adjustments to the process after tasks are assigned.

Responsibilities include loading parts, using gauges, observing for malfunctions, and assisting supervision with operator training. Knowledge of Syteline Manufacturing software and reading blueprints is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; five+ years related screw machine experience.
• Ability to read and interpret English safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Familiarity with Syteline Manufacturing software.
• Ability to read blueprints and use gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple spindle automatic screw machines.
• Make minor adjustments to the process or machine.
• Load parts and inspect with standard gauges.
• Assist supervision in training machine operators.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
