Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems, a unit of Howmet Aerospace, seeks a Machine Tech V for 1st shift in Fullerton, CA. The role sets up and operates multiple spindle automatic screw machines and may make minor process adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities include loading parts, performing tool changes, reading micrometers and blueprints, and ensuring quality with SPC charts. Candidates should be comfortable with repetitive precision work and safety standards.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma preferred with related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Math skills for rates, ratios and measurements.
• Experience with manufacturing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates multiple spindle automatic screw machines.
• Performs adjustments and tool changes.
• Reads micrometers and blueprints; checks tolerances with gauges.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and reports issues.
• Mentors operators as needed.
