Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a skilled Specialist Contracts Center to provide senior-level SCM contract support for complex agreements. You will lead drafting, negotiation, and execution while balancing business objectives with risk management.

This role collaborates with SCM, Legal and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and efficient contracting outcomes, with hybrid FlexWork options and a competitive salary in the US market.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Law, Paralegal Studies, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in contract management, supplier contracting, or in-house paralegal drafting and negotiating supplier agreements.

Responsibilities

• Independently draft, review, redline, negotiate and execute Master Agreements (excluding commercials) for direct category management areas (engineering, procurement, chemicals).
• Coordinate internal input from SCM, Legal, and stakeholders (Insurance, Tax, Credit) to update contracts per Enbridge guardrails.
• Review supplier redlines and prepare risk-informed responses using templates, fallback language, and legal guidance.
• Select appropriate contract type based on Legal guidance.
• Promote consistent use of approved contract language, processes, and best practices within the SCM Contracts Center.
• Document business decisions, Legal feedback, negotiation rationale, approved deviations, status updates, and contract records for reporting.
• Identify recurring contracting issues and opportunities to improve master agreements and intake guidance.
