Dispatch Biotherapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Scientist/Senior Scientist to lead in-house translational biomarker assays and drive cross-functional collaboration across Research, Discovery, and Clinical Development.

This role emphasizes ownership of clinical sample testing, assay transfer, and data reconciliation within a fast-paced biotech setting. You will develop proficiency in ddPCR, flow cytometry, single-cell RNA-seq, and MSD immunoassays, while coordinating with external CROs and vendors to

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in immunology or related field with postdoc or industry experience.
• At least 1 year hands-on translational/clinical assay experience.
• Experience working with CROs or external vendors on bioanalytical activities.
• Strong detail orientation and data integrity.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-house translational assays on clinical samples with ownership.
• Serve as technical resource across assay portfolio and train colleagues.
• Develop and implement new biomarker methods for future programs.
• Oversee external bioanalytical CROs including assay transfer and validation.
• Manage vendor scoping, contracting, and change orders.
• Maintain systems for tracking samples, data, and reagent inventory.
• Analyze and reconcile biomarker data across sources.
• Communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Pursue ongoing scientific and professional development.
